Jennifer B's Diary Entries

Diary Navigation:

May 2, 2001

Hey everyone,

Well, I here I am on CD18 of my "no structure" cycle and I know I have not yet Od. I am still tracking CM as a way of knowing when to DTD. I still have plenty of EWCM. So I'm confused -- I thought that Clomid made you ovulate earlier and more consistently at that early time? I haven't ovulated this late since I've been on Clomid -- and last month it was on CD15. Wouldn't it be typical if I had my first annovulatory cycle on Clomid:)

I guess we'll just have to wait and see if and when the little egg decides to appear!

I would like to extend my congratulations to Leslie! I am so happy for you and the emotion in your diary entry was very touching. You've been through a lot to get here and I wish you a very happy and healthy nine months.

It's kind of cool that in my past three entries I've been able to extend congratulations. There's a real trend going on here. Very nice!

I might get the opportunity to go visit someone I met on the boards. I really hope so. My dad is a pilot and is checking to see if I can have a pass for a partner airline. I've got my fingers crossed and my boat shoes ready!! Seattle here I come.

Our fence is about half built. The saga still hasn't ended with the neighbors. At one point they called the by-law office because my other neighbors had piled all the wood on the driveway while we built the fence. Well, these psychos must have the by-law codes on them -- because technically only a car is allowed in a driveway. That's to protect people from those who use their driveway as a junkyard. So the by-law officer had to come out -- even though he said it was the neighbors being jerks -- but when they get a complaint they have to follow the letter of the law. So all of us involved in the fence had to lug all the wood into our various garages. Then, the bad neighbors put a spotlight in their backyard for their dogs, and it shines into the house right next to ours. In fact -- right into their bedroom. They politely asked them to shift the spotlight and the neighbors told them to get a blind!! Nice!

I have to have a little rant about the Canadian health care system. Now, it's nice that mostly everything's free, but we pay with LONG lineups. I have been able to see an OB up to a certain point -- but now I have to see the infertility clinic. Now, Calgary has almost a million people, but there is only one infertility clinic. I got a call the other day saying they hoped to get me in ---- THIS YEAR! Apparently it takes 4 months to even get a call to schedule your appt. So I think I am going to take a Clomid break for a couple of months, even though I still have three month's worth. Why use it up if I need it for further treatment! I might try an herbal diet -- give that a few months to work and see what happens.

Well, that's all from me. Boring entry I know!!

Positive thoughts to all!

Jenn
