TTC#, C#10, CD#1
Well, AF FINALLY arrived today. I knew she was coming so I was anxiously awaiting her arrival so I could schedule the HSG. I now learned something new -- Clomid lengthens your LP! Mine have always been 14 days and it was 16 days this time.
But I am happy to report that I had no side effects on Clomid and that I ovulated, and ovulated well! We are quickly narrowing down the possible "problems." I figure for everything we check off, the closer we are to getting pregnant!
So my HSG is on March 26th. That's actually CD 12 -- I didn't know they did it that late. But because I don't O until CD 17 at the earliest -- I should still be OK for TTC this cycle. I would love to get a few opinions on what an HSG is like, so please, share away! I had a great description of it from Mary Pat, who said that it's like a Rotor Rooter or Tubal Enema!! I like the idea that you have an increased chance of getting PG the three cycles following the procedure. Paps don't bother me at all, so I'm hoping this is just like an extended pap!
As for the rest of my life -- well, I've been trying to get back in shape. There's a gym in my new office, which is great for those of us who make excuses like, "I don't want to bother to go all the way to the gym!" I'm in a wedidng next month and I want my arms to look a little more buff in my sleeveless bridemaids dress!
I am busily handicrafting away these days. I'm working on two quilts, and I have to get this bridal sampler stitched for my cousin's wedding. I'm almost half-way there and I HAVE to get it done by the end of the month in time to get it framed!
The new job is going very well. The pace is much more my style! I can actually go home at night feeling rested and relaxed! What a novel concept. And that in itself has got to be good when TTC.
I am having an Oscar party at my house next weekend so I have to get all the goodies ready! We eat hoity toity hors d'ouvres and I give away a gift basket to the person who guesses the most winners correctly. And then of course we get to ooh and ah over the dresses. It's great fun.
Well, congrats to everyone out there who ovulated successfully, has a +, heard the hearbeat or had a successful delivery!
Positive thoughts to all!
Jenn
