TTC#1, C#9, CD#12

Hello everyone,

Well I've finished my first round of Clomid, and now I'm just waiting to see if it'll give me that magical early O! I'm also waiting to see the state of my CM. Right now there is nothing to speak of! I'm drinking a tonne of water, so as you can imagine I'm in the washroom a whole lot!! I have a whole new appreciation for pregnant women and their tiny bladders!! OK -- if this entry shows up strangely, I'll understand -- my words are just going on and on in one long line!

Anyway, we started the BD-fest on CD10 -- just in case! I'll also start using an OPK starting tomorrow. Man those things are expensive -- I can't imagine spending $50 a month on them. At least not for long!

I started my new job this week -- YAY! I saw in the paper that they are hiring three people to replace me at my old job -- man that gets to me!! Why didn't they hire more people when I was there? So far I'm not doing a hell of a lot. I've been reading a bunch of publications and I've written a couple of form letters -- but I know where the washroom is!! I really like my new office, it's in a corner with windows on two sides. It's almost always sunny in Calgary, so that should keep me bright and cheery!

This weekend I'm going to one of those ceramics places where you can paint your own item. I would love to do a nativity scene. I'm not at all religious, but I love a nativity at Christmas. Growing up we would take out all of the pieces and my brother and I would always race to unwrrap rthem -- each hoping we'd be the one to uncover baby Jesus! I also have to finish my block of the month for my quilt class, and I have to make some more progress on the sampler I'm making for my cousin's wedding. So it'll be a crafty sort of weekend. We were supposed to go out to dinner with friends on Saturday but they cancelled becasue they have to work. This couple are workaholics. They love to work -- 7 days a week, 18 hours a day. They joke that they only see each other in bed. They're both lawyers. I have to resist the urge to tell them to get a life -- because I now know that their work is their life! I guess if you like it that much....

Oh -- I'm going to see Billy Elliot on Monday night -- anybody seen it? Any reviews to share?

Positive thoughts to all!

Jenn
