TTC#1, C#8, CD#6

Well, as I predicted, AF started on Thursday of last week. It was actually a pretty brutal day. I had decided to go in for pampering the night before and got a facial. Well, I had a wicked reaction to the products they used and I broke out in a burning rash. This happened about the same time AF decided to show. Talk about adding insult to injury! Anyway, I had to go to the doctor later on in the day to get a prescription for my face, and I told her AF had started. She's a great doctor. She seemed almost as disappointed as I was! So she is sending me for an ultrasound around the time I O next. Of course, I don't O until 24 days into my cycle so I have a while to wait! I go on the 31st, about two days before I should O.

I had a bit more bad luck on the weekend. Now, my hair is naturally blond (see my wedding photo). But my hairdresser dares me to have a bit of fun and go that all-over pale blond for a couple of months. I decided to throw caution to the wind and went for it! It looked great at first -- but when I washed it the next day it turned purple!! We're talking bright pinkish-purple. The salon wasn't open on Sunday so I had to call Monday morning to get it fixed after work. So here I am at work with purple hair. I had a video-conference with one of my clients and they got a really good laugh at it! I went to the salon after work and they fixed it -- apparently they used a purple toner to take down the yellow, and for some reason it really deposited! It looks good now. Crazy blond, but cool! I'm in a wedding in April, so I'll probably go back to my natural color then.

I have decided to start back at the gym; I haven't been there in months! I am really rolling like a bowlful of jelly these days! Time to tone up. I also started back to Weight Watchers after the Christmas excess. It's funny -- the place is packed this time of the year!

Work is still crazy, insanely busy. I can't wait until they've gotten my replacement up and going so I can stop doing two jobs. I hope this new position works for me. I'm a bit apprehensive that it'll be same *bleep,* different pile -- but we'll see!

This weekend is my birthday and my husband has something planned. I'm going out with the girls on Friday -- I don't know what happens on the weekend!!

I wanted to congratulate Uli on becoming PG on her first try. Way to go! I hope you have a terrific pregnancy.

Anyway, back to work!

Positive thoughts to all!
Jenn
