Hello everyone!
Two weeks away from writing a diary seems like a while, but oddly enough, I don't have a lot to update you on. We had a terrific holiday in Ottawa. There was a tonne of snow and it seemed really wintry. Everybody seemed to really like what I got them and I cleaned up in terms of gifts. DH gave me a beautiful cherry jewelry box from Reed and Barton. It's got three drawers and a lid. I joked with him that he'll have to start filling it in years to come! My parents gave me a bunch of clothes. I've been back a week and I'm still wearing new outfits every day. So it was a very prosperous Christmas for my family.

I saw a few friends and a couple of movies, but that's it. I really recharged my batteries. As those who read my diary know, my work has been just ridiculous lately, and I really needed some R&R. I never slept so well in my whole life! And yes, we did manage to TTC at the folks' house! They moved to a new house and the spare room is on a different floor. So I felt we had some privacy. Our dogs had no trouble traveling -- I was probably more nervous than they were on the plane!

However, in terms of TTC, this still isn't our month. My cramps started yesterday and my temps are inching down, so AF should arrive tomorrow night! Ergs. So by the time this is posted, it'll be onto cycle # 8! I was really relaxed this month and didn't feel that pressure come BD-fest time, so hopefully I'll be able to continue that way next month. My gynecologist is referring me to a fertility specialist if I'm not PG by February. I had all the bloodwork done before Christmas and it was all normal. But I've also only given these antibiotics a couple of weeks to do their trick, so we'll see next month!

I'm going to pull a Corinne here and give a couple of movie reviews. OK, I like cheesy movies. I'll admit it. I love action and comedy and I almost fell asleep in "The English Patient." So now you know the caliber of my movie reviews!! I saw "Miss Congeniality" and I loved it. I literally laughed out loud during the whole movie. Sandra Bullock should really stick to physical comedy; she's just great at it. My favorite line is, "I'm glidin' here." Those who have seen it will know what I'm talking about. I also saw "Vertical Limit." OK, I know the story was absolutely lame, and it was one of those movies where way more people die in the rescue effort than the number of people saved, but it was a sit-on-the-edge-of-your-seat thriller. I was engaged the whole time, mostly at how asinine these people are!!! I can't imagine doing what they do, but I have a coworker who climbs and he says the thrill is part of the lifestyle. I guess!

Well, I'd better get back to work. Hope everyone has a productive week.

Jenn
