Hello everyone!
First off, a great big thank you to all of you who
have wished us well and congrats! It means a lot to
hear from you and I do appreciate it. I also
appreciate all the well wishes for my mother.
I don't have much to report this week. My blood results came back and my hCG levels doubled just like they should have, which is a good sign. The doctor said that everything looks good (and I've since stopped spotting) but just to be able to document the pregnancy she wants to schedule me for an ultrasound. We go on Friday, Nov. 24. Yeah, I'm so happy! It's going to be great to catch a sneak of our little "pea" already.
I've been "blessed" with morning sickness! The only word I can say is ...UGH! It started almost a week ago and it's not just in the morning, it's all day! It seems to be a little less if I make sure I always have a little something in my tummy but it's not a fun feeling, that's for sure. Oh well, small price to pay to have a little angel, so I'll live with it!
Only a couple more days until we share our news with our family. DH and I are looking forward to Thanksgiving like crazy! It's sure to be day to remember.
My mom is doing great! She has most of her strength back and is back on her maintenance chemotherapy. I'm about to burst at the seams from not telling her the news yet!!!
That's all for this week. Happy Thanksgiving to you all and a safe and happy holiday weekend!
Hugs, Jennifer
