Jennifer's Diary Entries

Howdy ladies,

How have you all been since I last wrote? Good I hope!! I don't have anything "major" to talk about this entry. I'm currently on C# 6, CD#12. I should O any day now. I don't think I've O'd yet because I'm still having EWCM but it shouldn't be long now. DH and I decided to go ahead and get an OPK this month. We only tried it one other month and that was our first. After the first month of being disappointed by AF's arrival, we decided to not waste any more money on kits, but this being our sixth month, we thought we'd give it another try.

I stopped temping last month (only after doing it for two months) because I not only didn't like the inconvenience of it, but DH and I would like to keep this whole experience what it should be. We both would like to "just let it happen" with the least amount of 'clinical' intervention or 'help' as possible. I may go back to temping at another time, but for now, we'd like to just make love and bring our little angel baby into the world when s/he is ready. Don't get me wrong, I don't think that things like temping are wrong, I just don't want to get too clinical and stressful. We have enough in our lives to deal with without adding a little stress and disappointment ourselves! :-)

My mom has been doing well. I've even seen her a few times with a full face of makeup on!!! :-) She's now losing her hair, which is hard for her, but she's handling it well and she got a really nice specially ordered wig and some cute little scarves and turbans too. Her spirits seem to have gone up... I just pray they stay that way. Her next chemo treatment is May 2nd.

My MIL had to have the family dog put down today. She was 14 and had advanced cancer. She was so cute and we're going to miss her a lot! We love you Yuki!!! (Japanese for 'snow'... pronounced "YOU-KEY" she was a cute little white dog). MIL had her cremated and we're spreading her ashes over the catnip patch in MIL's back yard where all the family pets are. It's kind of nice to look at it during the summer when all the catnip is in bloom... peaceful.

I THINK that's about all... my mind is a little foggy right now because I had school tonight and then I met my girlfriend at the gym for our workout. We've still been going and now it's four or five times a week. I can't wait to see those results!!!!! I feel so great after working out and I feel good knowing that I'm actually keeping a schedule and not coming up with excuses on why I can't go. I'll be sitting at work and I'll actually be CRAVING to go workout. I NEVER thought that would happen! Ha, ha! I'm glad though, now I can see why people make a life long commitment to working out. It feels great and you look great too!!!

Best wishes to all of you this month and I'll keep you posted on this months cycle! I hope that #6 is my lucky one!!!!!
