Hello ladies,
How are you all doing? Good, I hope!

Well, guess what? I got a visitor Saturday... good ol' AF! Grrrrrrrr!!!!! I guess I can't say I was surprised because I really wasn't. The good thing about my body is that about 3-4 days before AF arrives I start getting cramps. The positive side to that is that I haven't been wasting any money on any PG tests. I still have the same two up in our bathroom cabinet that I had two months ago.

AF came on day 27 again this month just like last month. It's strange how I was so "regular" for so many months (28 days on the spot) but now it's been 27 days for the past two months. I can't complain because at least I'm only off by one day when I hear other woman out there that are somewhere between 24-36 day cycles... ugh! That would really mess me up and I'm sure I'd be spending a ton of money on PG tests.

I've been spending my time this month working out and trying to shed some of that "winter storage." My friend Heather and I have been going to the gym at least 3-4 times a week. I feel so good after working out and it feels great knowing that I'm getting my body into shape so that I can be prepared when I do become pregnant. One day last week I walked on the treadmill for an hour and 10 minutes... wow! The next day my legs felt like they were going to fall off! We usually do Nautilus (weights) and then do some type of cardio. It's great going with a friend because we talk and talk and talk and talk and it doesn't make the whole exercise "thing" so bad; in fact, I'm actually really enjoying working out.

Today here in Nebraska it's cold and rainy. Unlike a lot of people, DH and I enjoy rainy days. Since the house is spic-and-span (we had company last night so I went on a cleaning frenzy Friday night), I have no homework, DH and I can't do any yard work because of the rain, the laundry is done, and there is nothing to do, it feels good to just sit around in an old pair of cozy sweatpants, watch TV, and just mull around the house. I love Sundays like that!!! The only thing we have planned later on today is I'm about to go work out and then DH and I are going to have dinner with my mom and her husband.

Speaking of my mom, she had her first round of chemo on Wednesday after her surgery of her port. She's been feeling somewhat OK and she hasn't had to take as much pain medicine as she used to. She's now experiencing the side effects of nausea and tiredness, which is expected, but she's having a hard time dealing with it. I'm taking her Monday morning to look at wigs, so I'm hoping for some sunshine!

Take care and keep those fingers crossed that May will bring great things!

Best wishes!
~Jennifer
