Jennifer's Diary Entries

Diary Navigation:

March 7, 2000

Hi ladies,

Hope everyone is having a great week. Again, congratulations to some of the diary writers! Good news seems to be popping up all over so I hope DH and I are next!

The bad news is that AF did show up right on schedule (day 28) and although I pretty much was assured of her visit (cramps, bloating, moodiness, negative PT) it's still so depressing when she actually starts. Does it get any easier? I would think that it would get harder as time goes on.

The good news (well, sorta good news) is that I've started temping this month so I can get a good look at the way my body really works. It's so hard to wake up at 5:00 a.m. on the weekends to take my temp but I know it's for the best so I continue. It's a pretty funny sight to see; me with my eyes wide-open as the alarm goes blaring off, as I scrounge around in the dark for the thermometer on the headboard. I must look funny! Good thing DH is still sleeping otherwise I'd give him a few chuckles, I'm sure. Am I the only one who has fallen asleep with the thermometer in her mouth and doesn't even realize dozing off until the 2 minutes is up and the beeping of the thermometer wakes me?

I have noticed a pattern so I know that all this 5:00 a.m. business isn't a waste. I've been right around 96.8-97.1 up until day 13 and then it dropped all the way to 96.5!!!! I'm excited to see what tomorrow brings (day 15). DH and I have been BD every other day again since day 10 so I'm PRAYING, HOPING, WISHING, that this month is it.

I am feeling a little more relaxed this month. Spring has sprung and it's been absolutely gorgeous out. DH and I have been trying to keep busy with yard work and finishing up the minor improvements (thanks again Heather for the help with the kitchen curtains!) of the kitchen and living room. Things are coming right along, which is good, because by the time we do get pregnant (!!!) I won't have to stress about things around the house not done yet. Spring quarter starts this week so that's another thing that will occupy my time!

Currently I'm on day 14, so once again, it's wait, wait, wait. I bought a PG test this weekend but am swearing (yeah, right) not to use it until day 27 or 28! We'll see if I can hold off this month. Anyone betting? Ha, ha!

I've babbled enough this time. Now that I'm on the diaries I'll make sure to keep my entries up to date. Hope you're all having a super week! Until next time...

~Jennifer
