Jennifer's Diary Entries

Diary Navigation:

February 22, 2000

Hi ladies,

Hope everyone is doing good this month! I'm so happy to hear about the good news on some of the other diaries. Congratulations!!!

Well, I'm expecting AF tomorrow (Feb 23) and I'm positive she will come. I couldn't wait (I do this every month) and I took a PT 10 dpo and that was negative and then again 12 dpo and that, too, was negative so I'm awaiting the ol' hags visit. I was really bummed out this time because if we were pregnant that would have put the due date on my husband's 30th birthday. Could you imagine a better birthday present? I'm trying not to get discouraged about the whole TTC adventure but it's so hard because all my friends have either had babies already (without trying hard at all) or have no problems at all getting PG (regardless if they decided they wanted to PG or not). Both DH and I are starting to wonder if our 'equipment' is working right. I know 'they' SAY that it takes 6 to 12 months to conceive but everyone we know (friends and family) have gotten PG right off the bat. I guess we're on to the month of March! That would bring us to a December baby and it sounds so sweet (having the whole magical feelings of Christmas and all) but I wonder if a child would like having a birthday so close to other holidays?

I just can't wait and I daydream what it will be like to feel my belly grow with DH and I's baby and to be able to hold him/her and look into those sweet precious eyes. Just thinking about it makes my stomach ache.

I really truly thought I was PG this time because about 4-5 dpo I had some mild spotting (never experienced that before) and then I was super nauseous everyday for the next several days. One day I woke up and my nausea was gone and I was having mild cramps. Anyone have any idea's on that one? Boy how the body can play vicious tricks!!! I spotted a tiny amount of blood this morning (nothing since then) and I don't really feel crampy but I do have that 'heavy' feeling. I'm sure I'll be getting AF by the time I wake in the morning assuring my Wednesday a depressing and achy one! By the next time I write I will for sure know if AF is coming, so I'll keep you posted.

Good luck and best wishes for a successful month! ++++++++

~Jennifer
