Jenn's Diary Entries

Diary Navigation:

November 28, 2000

Well, ladies, I'm in cycle 4 since the m/c, CD#18, and 2 DPO. So I'm in the 2WW now. And it sucks. I got PG the first time on the fourth cycle so I'm thinking this may be it. I'm hoping.

I had a good turkey day with family. I also enjoyed the four-day weekend with DH. We did some things but really not too much. We just relaxed. We put up some Christmas lights outside. We were gonna get our tree but the day we wanted to go it was raining so we didn't. Then after we went grocery shopping and stuff, we had not enough money left to get a tree and pay bills. So maybe this weekend. I hope. We got an early Christmas present this past weekend too. While at my aunt's house I was looking at her new stove and she had got it for a reasonable price. Well, I told my mom that's what we wanted for Christmas so she and Dad went out and bought it Saturday. They brought it out and hooked it up and all. I really like it and am thankful that we got it. I have been baking in it since. :) Our old oven had quit working back in June or so and we had been using our toaster oven since then. It's nice and handy but I really wanted to bake cakes and cookies.

I'm having a grumpy week. I'm not sure why, but I am. Both my grandparents have been sick lately. My grandma has been sick and having a lot of back pain. The doctor said she had a bladder infection but I'm not so sure about that. I hope she gets to feeling better soon. My grandfather, who lives in the Alzheimer's unit, has been sick too. We got called to the ER the other night cause he was having trouble breathing. He has emphysema really bad and has been on oxygen for a while now. So we went out there to see him and he was having a breathing treatment and all that. He was still breathing hard but was in a good mood laughing all the time. I think that's good that they aren't in a lot of pain. He also has pneumonia. So I'm hoping they both get better soon.

So many new writers turning up PG this month. I hope I'm one of the next ones. That would be a nice Christmas present. I'm hoping this is my month! I had tonnes of stuff to say in this entry but when it came down to actually typing this I forgot all of it. MAN!

Well, that's it for now since I forgot ...

Jenn

Well, I just remembered some things I was gonna say earlier but my head wasn't screwed on so I forgot what I wanted to say. LOL

I just found out recently that two of my cousins are PG. One of them has a little boy who is 9 months old, a cutie pie. She is only 21 and is not married, with a different guy than the father of her first baby. She didn't want to be PG. She went in to have surgery and they told her that the surgery was off 'cause she is PG. Imagine that! I think for financial purposes and other things that she doesn't need another child right now. Maybe when she's a little more mature and stable. Another cousin of mine has a little boy who is 6 years old. Her husband is stuck back in the 60s and treats her like doo-doo. I told her that I am happy for her and hope that they have worked their problems out. She said oh yeah they haven't had problems since four or five years ago, but just last year she was emailing me about things that were going on with them. I guess that's her problem and not mine, so to each your own. She started trying in October and they are already PG. Makes me sick.

It pisses me off that people like that can get PG just like that and people like us, who want a child sooo much and long to hold one of our own in our arms, can't get one. We have everything already lined up and are ready to bring a child into our lives but it just won't happen. I really hate that. I know they say God works in mysterious ways but sometimes I wonder WHY God???? Just why. I mean it doesn't make sense. It's not fair at all!!!

Also wanted to say that O fell right on the right time this month. DH and I were both home all weekend and I got my two peaks on my monitor on Saturday and Sunday. YES! So we took care of both days. I haven't been feeling well lately so I hope that doesn't interfere with eggs and all that. Also yesterday and today I have had a terrible headache and then I have been nauseous. Wish it was from being PG but that's not it at all – not being only 2DPO. LOL

Well, that's it for good this time. Just had to add what I forgot earlier.

Love,
Jenn

Ps. Trisha, I know you read this and I'm sorry if you don't like what I said about Krissy. I have more feelings about it but I didn't want to express them all here. You just don't know how it feels until you've been here. Right, girls!?
