Jenn's Diary EntriesDiary Navigation: |
August 30, 2000
Hi. I almost forgot about this week's entry. Nothing much going on here right now.
Well, last week my hCG levels were 4 and they consider that a negative so we are actively TTC'ing again. Wish us better luck this time. I hope it doesn't take too long for us to conceive and I hope it works this time and doesn't end in miscarriage again. You know a lot of people have said things (not directly to me) like "She wasn't PG very long so it shouldn't hurt," and "It was only developed to 1 and a half weeks so there really wasn't a baby to mourn the loss of," and other stupid remarks. I just want them all to know that even if the baby was not developed very much that there were dreams, hopes and the future to mourn the loss of. Ever since I took that PG test and got the positive, we had a lot of dreams and hopes for this baby and for our future with this baby. So they don't need to think/say anything of the sort. You just don't know how it feels until you're in the situation and I don't wish that upon anyone. I will always wonder what my baby looked like and how tall or short he/she would've been and if he/she would have been blonde like DH and I are. Just lots of things that I'll always wonder about. Anyway, sorry for ranting. Just had to get that off my chest!
I have been reading a lot of books on miscarriage and they have seemed to help. Just to read the stories that other women have gone through. I recommend them to anyone after a loss. On a more positive note, I received my ClearPlan fertility monitor in the mail this past Friday and then yesterday I received a pack of PG tests and two boxes of test strips for the monitor. I'm so excited to start using it. I told DH that I want AF to get here so I can use it and he said, "Don't wish for AF to get here. I'd rather it not come back." LOL. I wish too but I do want to try this monitor out. I just hope I can figure the thing out. Well, not much else.
Take care and lots of BFPs this week and next week and month, LOL.
Love, Jenn
