Jenn's Diary Entries

Diary Navigation:

May 22, 2001

Well ladies. Looks like alot of you here are getting bit by the pg bug. Hope that's me soon. After this week no more pills and back on the TTC road. Hope I don't have to drive that road for much longer.

I really don't have alot to chat about this entry but I'll try to think up some things. LOL

Well Cory and I went to Chicago this past weekend for our 6th anniversary. We spent the weekend there and we went to the Museum of Science and Industry and then that evening we went to the Sears Tower and then the next day we went to Shedd Aqaurium. We had fun. It was just nice to get away. We are wanting to start going up there more often and doing different things.

Cory has always been into skating (skateboard). So when we were up there we drove by a skate park and of course we had to stop. I felt bad for him because I could tell in his eyes that he wished it was him out there skating and doing tricks and such. It was pretty neat to watch. But Cory's knees hurt him too bad now for him to do much on the board. I wish we had a skate park around here for him to go to.

Anyways we had a good time up there.

And this weekend (Memorial Day) we may go camping. We usually go every year with my SIL and her family. They have an old camper and we just go in our tent. Just depends on if we can afford it this week or not. If not we'll have a good weekend anyways.

I just want to express how much my DH means to me for a second. He is my rock, my best friend, my lover and my better half. I love him to death and I know he will be the greatest father if we ever get that chance. If not, he's still my best friend and I'm so lucky to have found that in a man. I am so thankful to have found someone like him. Like my Grandmother says, " You have a good one, don't let him go." I mean I couldn't ask for more or better.

OK. Sorry but I just wanted that recorded in my diary for the future. I love him to PIECES!!!!

Oh I wanted to talk about King of Queens for a minute. Did any of you watch the season finale last night?? I thought at first it was sad because they were mad that she got pg but in the end it was sad. I'm glad that they show that kind of stuff on TV. I mean alot of people think m/c's are something that just don't happen. And I'm glad they are getting it out to the world that it does happen all the time. I mean it hurts like hell to go through it, as many of us here know. When Doug came in the room and Carrie said she lost the baby, I looked at Cory and said don't we know that feeling all too well? He said more than I want to. But I know that if we were meant to be parents we will be one day.

Well take care all and have a good week. I'll try if my job can't get anymore stressful. lol. Pushy bosses......

Until next time....

Hugs, Jenn
