Courtney's Diary EntriesDiary Navigation: |
December 5, 2000
Things have been very busy lately. At work we are about to go live on a new upgrade for our administrative database. We seem to do this about once a year since the university purchased the product PeopleSoft. It just so happens I have a lot of deadlines around this time of year being complicated by the upgrade. Not only is work busy but my 12th cycle has been one surprise after another as well. I will fill you in on what has been going on.
Last we spoke I was on CD 4. Well, CD 6 my monitor told me to test but I had not slept the night before and didn't have to pee (we were babysitting a cat and she did not get along with my two cats). I decided to wait until CD 7 to start testing. So I rolled out of bed CD 7, tested and had a high reading. I thought OK, another seven highs before a peak like last month. So CD 8 and 9 also turned out to be high readings. CD 9 I ended up spending the entire day in the emergency room as I sliced my finger trying to cut a bagel. Seven or eight hours and four stitches later we were home. We had BD'd on CD 7 and since I was in such pain we figured we could skip the BD and just start on CD 10.
Then on CD 10 I was shocked to see a peak on my monitor. I was not expecting this at all. I was worried since we didn't BD the night before that I might only get one peak this month and we would have missed our chance. Right before bed I noticed EWCM and got excited. We BD'd (last night) and prayed we didn't miss our window. I woke up this morning CD 11 to find another peak. I was so happy we hadn't totally missed it. I don't have any noticeable CM today but that is normal. My breasts have had an almost burning feeling and I have had a dull ache in my left side. This usually happens right after I O. We will BD tonight and hope for the best. I guess I will be 8 dpo by the time I make it to the doctor's on Dec. 13. I hope I don't spot this month. Since I am sure I O'd, I will start my progesterone pills tonight at bedtime. Wish me luck!!!!!
Lots of love,
Courtney
