Hey all I had quite the scare on Saturday. Ryan (dh) went for a job interview on Saturday at 2:30 and I went to St Thomas with my bestfriend to checkout her brother's new house and a model of her future house. I was home by 4:30 and decided to take a nap. I was up by 5:30 and headed to the loft to watch tv. Ryan had not called and there was no sign of him. I thought wow that seems like a long time for and interview maybe he met a friend and they went out for drinks. 6:30 rolled around and Hockey Night in Canada was starting. I was starving and I knew Ryan had mentioned having dinner together. I went and made a grilled cheese until he came home. The Leafs game ended at 9:30 and I was starting to freak out. He wasn't home and had not called. I called around to see if anyone had heard from him. Then called my grandma to see if there was anything on the 6 o'clock news since I didn't watch it. 10 pm his brother got in on it and decided he would come over if Ryan hadn't come home by 10:30. By then I was scared but yet angry at him for making me worry if nothing was wrong. His brother was just about to leave when I hear the frontdoor open. He wasn't even through the front door when I started yelling .. where were you? Are you ok? Why didn't you call. I litterally broke down. I ran to the phone to call everyone who was looking for him then collapsed.
Turns out for 8 hours he was in a boardroom with the owners of a Consulting Engineering Firm discussing a position within the firm. The room had no windows and no clocks. He said it was 6pm before they realized what time it was and Ryan hadn't even asked any questions about the firm or the job. In the end everything is fine and we are waiting for the firms offer.
Sunday was quite uneventful .. thank goodness. I didn't let Ryan out of my sight. Can you imagine what I would do if I had a baby????
On that note our status for ttc has been upgraded to 2 weeks. We are bding when we feel like it right now since we have no idea where I am in my cycle. Last af was in Sept. I am hoping af will stay away until Dec 23 or 24 so that I can be monitored over the next cycle. I can't believe how close Christmas is now. I have decided to take some of my bonus money (that I had planned on using for IVF) and buy some "toys". We are looking at getting a digital camera and a DVD player. I think that should tide me over until a baby can be conceived ... lol
Well I should be off .. great chatting with you .. be back next week same bat time, same bat addy!
