Well we start the monitoring for our first IUI cycle on Thursday. In case any of you are wondering what this is or how it is done I will explain. IUI is Interuterine Insemination ... this is where the RE takes sperm and injects it into the uterus at the time of O. They try to get it as close to O as possible. They can tell when you should O by monitoring your LH surge. This means that I must have blood work daily from Cd 9 until I get the surge. We are hoping to get a surge by Monday of next week. Cross your fingers for us! I will have an u/s on Thursday to check the size of any growing follicles. According to a chart the RE gave me I should have a follicle between 11 - 14 mm on Thursday.
Hey guess what? We are planning a trip to Canada's Wonderland and I can't wait. It is much similar to the Six Flags Parks in the US. Lots of rollercoasters and rides. my favourite last time I went was Top Gun made to be like flying an F16.
Well it is late and I should go to bed. Talk to you all on Friday after my RE appointment.
