Courtney's Diary Entries

March 1, 2001

Well ladies I am officially closer to 30 than I am to 20. I turned 26 on Feb 27th. I think I am having more trouble getting my mind around 26 then I had with 25. I have this feeling that I should be more grown up and not so teenager like ... lol. Make any sense? Oh well I guess in time I will get use to saying I am 26. This weekend dh and I are having all of our friends over to celebrate. Blender drinks with lots of rum are the drink of the night. I went to the Price Club on Wednesday and bought the biggest, juiciest strawberries for the drinks! I can't wait to see all of my friends!

On the ttc front we are basically on hold for the next two months or so. It is kind of a blessing in disguise. My ovaries are now both 10 cm X 10 cm (size of a soft ball) and are showing no signs of shrinking. They have to shrink for me to O and for the Dr to do anything else. So we will just bd when we want to instead of when my cycle says to. This is going to take the pressure off and make it more enjoyable. When we return from our trip to Cuba we will do spontaneous IUI's for the next few cycles. Spontaneous just means no meds (after what clomid did to me we are avoiding them if possible).

Okay on a none ttc topic how bout those Leafs???? Thank goodness the Lindros trade fell through as we have been playing great with the pressure off. I was so worried for awhile that I was going to lose my favourite player, Tomas Kaberle. I am sure some day we will but for now I am happy. GO LEAFS GO!!!
