It's official I am not a fan of clomid! Now I am sure that it is wonderful and helped a lot of women get pg but it is not helping me. I have o'd every month since going off bcp on my own. The Dr put me on clomid hoping it would help me produce more than one egg to increase our chances of getting pg. Well it seems to have stopped me from Oing!!!!! I have been in such discomfort over the past 3 days it is getting annoying. I am not a very big person (120lbs 5'6") I feel my enlarged ovaries when I move and they cause this ache from my belly through to my back. I can't workout as they hurt, I don't like to walk because they bug me. I got checked out and no cysts are causing this just my ovaries. So I sit and wait for O to happen ... if it will. If it decides not to come this month I will not take clomid next month. It seems to defeat the purpose of taking it. The Dr said that it is entirely possible I will not O until cd 17 or 18 even as late as cd 20. Well I am here at cd 17 and it better happen soon!!!! I would even take O pain so that I knew it actually happened.
On to brighter things. Dh and I took a trip to Mississauga over the weekend to attend a going away party for two friends of ours from school. They are moving to England for 2 years next Monday where he will start up an office for his company. They are 26 and 28. They just got married last August and it is such a good move for them. I am just going to miss them!
We also decided that we are going to take a vacation for our 2 year anniversary. We figure incase we should be blessed with a baby this might be our last time to get away just the two of us for a while. We picked Cuba cause we want to go somewhere warm and are looking at Cayo Coco cause several of our friends have been there recently and loved it. We looked at pictures and I just wanted to go so badly! So today I will stop in at the travel agent on campus and see what I can find.
Well I should get going have a good week and if I O at all I will post it on my board!
