Corinn's Diary Entries

Diary Navigation:

October 9, 2002

I cant believe I actually have the time to update my diary. I wanted to start off by saying that I am really sad to see so many of our writers feeling uncomfortable and that this is a negative envoirnment for them. When I kept a diary on PG today and BT, I never got many messages on my TTM board and sometimes it made me feel sad, BUT I figured I had readers and even if I didn't I was writing for me and not to see how many people read it. I am not the most interesting diary writer, but I really enjoy keeping this diary. I have many thoughts, views, feelings and past experiences that probably would raise some major hell on my TTM borads but if ya don't like then don't read it... I really hope these great writers choose to stay and they know they are welcome here!
Off my soapbox and onto other subjects.. my period only lasted 3 days, usually it is 5, I am wondering if being off the BCPs and IUD has thrown things off? Should I be concerned?
I am a very regular girl, you could time Big Ben by me..every 28 days to the hour. I have been pouring over TCOYF and I am starting to feel not as confident that I O on day 14, I am definitely Oing every month though because I always have EWCM midcycle. I have decided not to temp, since I am already on CD4. I am just going to check my cervical position and my CM. I am thinking about surfing EBAy for some OPK's to help with timing.
I had my splints taken out of my nose and I feel lots better! The bruising is almost gone and my surgeon was amazed at how quickly I am healing, especially since I am about as white as a wall. I have a yellow goatee of bruises from the tape that they used to stabilize the ET tube. My nostril is now back to normal and they are equal again!
Ok, I feel like a dork admitting this but does anyone else shop for maternity clothes even though they aren't pg? I feel like an imposter or something when I go into Motherhood and look around, but I can't help it. I am a MAJOR bagain hunter and I hate to pass up a good deal. I saw a really cute maternity tank top for $9.00 that I had to have so I bought it! The lady must've thought I was a nutcase. I also surf the baby section clearance at the GAP and find some great deals! I haven't actaully bought any baby stuff yet, but I am so tempted. My friends think I am a nut, but I like to be prepared and you never know when something might be disconinued or sold out. Right now I am researching double strollers, Avery will be 3 in May and I want a double stroller because I DON'T trust 3 yr old to not run off at the mall etc. Does anyone have any suggestions? I really like the Euro Graco Duoglider since it is A LOT lighter than their regular duoglider, the Sit and Stand LXIII which is a double tandem stroller that converts to the sit and stand model, and the Jeep Wagoneer double stroller, and the Combi Twin Savvy. I love the Combi but it is *expensive*!
Ok, I am done rambling..
Have a good week and ++++vibes, Corinn
