Cindy B's Diary Entries

Diary Navigation:

December 12, 2000

I don’t have a whole lot to say this week. I’m on day 60 with still no sign of AF. I’ve tried to contact my OB, who is supposedly back from vacation, with no luck. I want to kind of take it easy with TTC right now. I don’t want to be negative, but I know that I won’t O this cycle (I think my body would go into shock if I did) so I’m just waiting for a visit from good ol’ AF. I guess it would be a good thing because it would give me a new start.

I’ve been concentrating instead on getting ready for Christmas. So far all of the packages have been mailed off and I only have a couple of presents to buy. I’ve baked some Christmas cookies that we will bring with us when we travel to visit the relatives. Stefan’s grandma usually bakes all of the Christmas goodies, but this year she wants to cut back on what she does. She does more at age 81 than I do at 25; she amazes me. Stefan and I bought some Christmas CDs today, one with music from Louis Armstrong and Bing Crosby and another with orchestral Christmas music. I was shocked to realize that we didn’t have any Christmas music in the whole house except for one tape of songs played on a mandolin that is sooooo obnoxious, every time I hear it I want to grab the mandolin and tie it in a knot (I get the same feeling when I hear too much of Kenny G.; anyone else feel the same??).

Only eight more work days before: 1) Christmas and 2) I have a week of vacation!!! I’m excited!!

Take care and I hope I have more to tell next week,
Cindy
