Cindy B's Diary Entries

Diary Navigation:

November 13, 2000

I don't have a whole lot to report this week. I've been super busy this week since I have my stupid state written exams next week. I'm kind of nervous so I decided to take tomorrow off work to study. But at this time next week they will all be behind me except for my oral exam in January (so I have a little breather in between!!). Yeah!!!

Cows and SheepOn the TTC front: I've been taking dexamethasone now for six days now and don't notice any difference. I thought I might have O'd by now or at least seen AF. But nothing. I don't know if it's the calm before the storm or just plain nothing. My temps were more stable the last two weeks, but just about since I started the meds, they have started to go up and down like crazy. My OB said that he wants me to take the dexamethasone for at least two cycles and if I don't O then he would put me on Clomid. I just hope that two cycles don't take too long. This is really trying on my nerves, which weren't very good from the beginning anyway.

I had an interesting talk with my friend, Anja, whom I mentioned in some of the last entries. She is PG with #2 and doesn't seem to have any problem getting PG in the first place. Well, she told me that she, just like me, had a hormone imbalance and had to take a similar medication to get her levels back to normal. She said that it took her one and a half years for everything to go back to normal again (I didn't like the sound of that). She also said that she didn't O because of some kind of some kind of build up around her ovaries and that her OB said that she wouldn't be able to get PG because of it. So, everything is working out for her; I hope that things go as well for me. Her story gives me hope that things will work out. I really hope so. It just seems like the goal of becoming PG is so far away.

Other than school, work and the ever-continuing TTC there isn't a whole lot going on right now. Stefan and I take walks a lot and I took some pictures the last time, so I thought I would include it. I'm a sucker for cows and sheep and I love it when the trees turn color in the fall.

I hope that everyone has a +++ week,
Cindy
