Ich geh' mit meiner Laterne,
und meine Laterne mit mir...
It's four days before St. Martin's Day but the parades took place tonight. I love St. Martin's Day, the kids make their own lanterns and sing together in parades. There is always an adult that dresses up like St. Martin and rides on a white horse. He leads the kids who carry their lanterns and parents who carry torches. Everyone puts candles in the windows and watches. Every year there are about four different parades in the village and they are usually on different days before the actual holiday (the 11th of November). Anyway, the one on our street was tonight. It always reminds me that Christmas is right around the corner.
So, I talked to my OB about the test results. He said that my testosterone level is too high (and there was one more hormone that was out of whack, but he said it too quickly. I asked him to say it again and I still don't know what it is, I had never heard of it. A lot of German medical terms are the same as in English but just pronounced differently. But this was really different) and that is probably the reason that I'm not Oing. So he prescribed me 0.5 mg tablets of dexamethasone (a cortisone steroid) and he said if that doesn't work then he will prescribe me Clomid. I took the first tablet tonight, well see.
That's the news around here. I hope everyone is doing well and know that I'm sending you super +++ thoughts your way!
Cindy
