It's Halloween already -- Happy Halloween!! This year I don't have any plans except to do nothing tonight but spend time with Stefan. We haven't spent enough time with each other in way too long.
Since I moved here, Stefan and I have always had a Halloween party. It's great here since Nov. 1 is a state holiday in North Rhine-Westphalia, so there is no school, no work! So we can always party until late :-). Oh well, there's always next year. Halloween isn't celebrated here like it is in the States. I wound up loaning my big Halloween box filled with everything related to Halloween to some friends who are teachers at an elementary school. They want to introduce Halloween to the kids.
Well, this week has been pretty uneventful. When I broke the news to Stefan about PCOS, he seemed to take it well. He stayed really positive. Then when we were at our friend's house, Anja and Stefan, a couple of nights ago and Anja announced that she is pregnant. She has a son (1 year old) and was pregnant in June but had a miscarriage in August. I really felt bad for them, Anja had to have surgery and everything was really a mess. But it worked out for them. Anyway, when we came back Stefan just started to cry and cry. I guess it hit him that we won't be able to have a baby without medical help. I admit, I was really down for a couple of days, but I've found a lot of information on the Internet and know what is going on with me. I've just accepted it. I'd rather get PG with medical help than know that I could never get PG. That would be bad. I'm still dying to know what the OB says next Monday when I get my test results. This reminds me, I have to make an appointment with the dentist; time again for a cleaning! OK, I'm back and have an appointment for Dec. 5.
Well, I really don't have anything exciting going on right now. Congratulations to all the + testers this week!! I'll sprinkle lots of ****++++****++++* baby dust to everyone else who's waiting for a + test!
Love,
Cindy
