CD# 72 (!!)

Hi everyone!
I hope everyone is having a fun weekend! Yesterday DH and I went to my company's annual party. It was held at an amusement park on the Rhine. We ate at a fine restaurant and could do anything (that was allowable) we wanted to do afterwards. DH, some colleagues and I went bowling! It was so much fun! It's rare to find a bowling alley here; I think it has been at least three years since I've bowled. I broke my all-time high score by two points! Yea!!!

Today has been one of those around-the-house kind of days. We've been cleaning, washing clothes and I've been doing some homework. Yuck. I can't wait until the exams are behind me. I only have until November for the written part and January for the oral part. But there is so much that I still need to learn and do until then.

This has been one super-long cycle for me. The last time I saw AF was on June 24. This isn't normal for me either. My usual cycle lasts about 40 days but this is ridiculous. I know that I'm not pregnant because about two weeks ago I was having pains in my lower abdomen and went straight to the doctor after work. I didn't go to my usual doctor because he was on vacation. The doctor took a urine test (this includes a pregnancy test: negative, of course) and did an ultrasound of my ovaries, uterus and bladder. He said everything looks like it should, except he confirmed that I had a light bladder infection. Hmmm. He gave me some herbal medication (I hate taking antibiotics) and it went away immediately. But where is AF? I called my gynecologist but couldn't get an appointment until December, super. I decided to pass. I think I'll change doctors. A friend of a friend is pregnant and she goes to a doctor in a nearby town and says that he's really good. We'll see if I can get an appointment this month.

I wish everyone positive thoughts and a fertile week!

Cindy
