I know it has been a while since I’ve last written. The problem is our computer has a virus and I don’t know how to fix it. I was looking through some old download files and I found one that I thought looked strange called “Majick.exe”. My first instinct was to throw it out, but then I thought “Well….” and I opened it. At first there was a card game and I thought it was kind of neat so I sent it to my sister (!). After that we had been having increased problems with the computer then after about 4 days it started to beep and flash lights. I thought it might be a virus, so I called my sister who is a computer expert. And sure enough, it’s a virus. The weird thing is when I sent it to my sister, she said it wasn’t called “Majick.exe” but ”Weird.exe”. It changed names by itself. I haven’t had the time to do anything about it since we’ve been dealing with our new house (more about that later). So I had to wait until I could use my FIL’s computer before I could write again! Has anyone heard of this virus? If so, please write to me on my TTC board!!
I was at the OB on Monday and, a shocker, I didn’t O on 50 mg of Clomid. The next course of action is that I’ll be taking 100 mg of Clomid. If that doesn’t work, I’m thinking about going to an RE. My OB said that he won’t give me more than 100 mg of Clomid, even though I have PCOS because he said that more than 100 mg is dangerous and he won’t give it to me. So I’ve decided that unless I O on 100 mg Clomid, I’m going to switch doctors or ask for a referral. I’ve also decided that I don’t like him anymore. What a jerk!
So, the other news: yesterday we bought a house!! I swear there was more paperwork to sign than there was when Stefan and I got married. We’ll get the keys in about 3 weeks. Actually we won’t be moving in for a while though. We want to renovate the bathroom and kitchen and that will take about 3-4 months before we’re done since we’ll be doing most of the work ourselves. It can’t take too long though because we don’t want to pay rent and a mortgage at the same time.
I’ve been really busy the last couple of weeks. Either I come home from work exhausted or after work I go to the home improvement stores. So far we bought tiles for the bathroom floor and we have ones for the walls picked out. We’ve also decided on a kitchen style that we like, but will entail a lot of work. It’s so much fun, though, picking out things!
I hope get my computer running again, if not, it may take a while before I can post again.
