Cindy B's Diary Entries

Diary Navigation:

January 24, 2001

I think I’m really going to like this new writing system. Now when my entries are posted they’ll still contain “news”. I sent an entry from Jan. 19th (I missed a week) and I see that it is still not up yet. So to make the story super short, my OB said that 2 follicles are developing nicely and I should O by tomorrow. I really hope that what he says is true. I know that this month won’t be our month though, because Stefan is sick with a cold and is too exhausted after work to DTD (he’s never sick more than once a year, so it really sucks that he is sick now). But I would be so happy just to know that I Oed. After all, if I O this cycle then I can O again and we will have more chances to get PG!

We have found a house that we want to buy and we have already met with our lawyer to set up all of the legal contracts etc. Since we want to renovate/build on to the house, we met with the construction company and architect yesterday and the architect said that since the house it in the country there is a law that hinders new homeowners to build on to houses. We would have to live there for 5 years before we could do anything to it. The architect will call tomorrow to tell us whether or not it would be legal. We have been waiting for this house since June and it is finally for sale and now there is a big question as to whether or not it is even worth buying. We wanted to buy it with my MIL/FIL to remodel into a house with two separate living quarters. The house already has separate living quarters but they are too small. We would need at least 2-3 more rooms per apartment in order to have enough room. We wanted to add another story to the house but they explained to us yesterday that the laws are set up that per housing development there is only 1 kind of house that is allowed to be built, for example only bungalows or 2 story homes etc. In this development (there are about 8-10 houses in a neighborhood outside the city limits) there are only 2 story homes allowed and we want 3. So that’s already out of the question (isn’t this crazy??). So we were thinking about adding on to the back of the house since the yard is very long and space is not a problem. Well, they said that it might not be possible. I’m crossing my fingers that things work out for us.

I’m still on vacation and am getting really nervous about my exam next Wednesday. I’m trying not to think about it too much. Very difficult though!!!

I hope everyone has a +++ week!!

Cindy
