Introduction

Hi Friends,

Today I got the most wonderful news of my life!

Thanks to modern technology and a wonderful lab tech (not the one I had last week) I was able to witness the heartbeat of my precious baby! Yes, my baby is ALIVE! He/she looked like a little peanut and the heartbeat was beating so fast! The yolk sack and fetal sack (I'm not sure of the proper term) was the correct size it should be! My E.D.D. is 1/27/2001. That seems so far away ... I have to go through the summer heat wave, 4th of July, fall, Halloween, Thanksgiving, Winter, Christmas, New Year's, mine and DH's 31st birthdays before I even get to see my little critter! It seems so far away!

DH would probably get upset if I told you this, but his eyes filled with tears when he saw the heartbeat. He could see it before me, so when he looked at me with that big smile and tears in his eyes, I knew it was going to be OK.

Well, it looks like it's time for me to say good bye to Preconception.com. As much as I love being here, I'm looking forward to my new journey on Pregnancy Today. I'm quite scared and I know there is still a possibility that I could loose this child, but I feel that everything will be OK. I've gone way past the point were I lost my baby last time!

I know God will answer mine and all of your prayers. Thanks for being my support unit! All of you that post on my BB or e-mail me personally have really helped me get through the hard parts! Please know that I will be there for you when it's your turn to get through the hard parts. I hope you all follow me to my new diary! I really look forward to sharing the next part of the journey with you!

Take Care,
Christy
