Christy's Diary Entries

Diary Navigation:

May 16, 2000

Hi everyone,

I'll have to keep this one short since today is our second anniversary. We're getting ready to go out and celebrate! And yes, I do plan on indulging a little bit tonight! Why not, I've been sooooo good for the past eight weeks! Besides, I'm on the metabolic adjustment phase of my diet and still seem to be losing weight (30.5 pounds so far).

Thanks to the help from Tanya on my BB, I learned that my cycle is not screwed up! YEA!!! She told that it seemed like I was having what is called a "stair-step" pattern. Last night I was talking to another friend (thanks LaVonne) who explained to me what a "stair-step" exactly meant. She said that many women have them and that it is quite normal. My fertility book does not say a word about this type of cycle, so all of this is new to me.

My friend suggested that I get a copy of Taking Charge of your Fertility by Toni Weschler, which is exactly what I did as soon as I got off the phone. Guess what I found... my chart resembled the sample chart in the book almost to a "T". After studying my chart thoroughly (with the help of my new book), I discovered that DH and I BD'd right on my OV day! How great is that! We didn't even plan it, we just sort of got "caught up in the moment." So here I am, on CD#35 wondering if I'm pregnant? Now I'm analyzing every little twinge, breast soreness, and bout of nausea. I know its probably all in my mind, but I just can't help it! I want a baby so bad!

I'm planning on testing Saturday morning if AF doesn't show up by Friday!

Well, gotta run!

Take care,
Christy
