Hi Everyone,

Now I know why I love California so much! It's been really sunny and about 80 degrees every day. The sun stays out until 8:00 p.m. and when I go for my evening runs, I can feel the heat from the day rising up from the earth. It just feels soooo good! I must enjoy it while I can, June gloom is right around the corner!

Well, it has been a monumental week for me. I finally hit the 25 pound milestone loss. I'm really happy with my results. DH and I will be going to a wedding in two weeks and I have asked the nurses to help me loose as much as I can in my last two diet weeks. They have a few tricks up their sleeves that I plan to try later this week. I hope I have the stamina to keep it up! The nurse said it was a pretty rigid diet.

We also have our second anniversary coming up on May 16. DH was planning a surprise trip that he booked over the internet, but forgot to close the registration window. Me, being the nosy person that I am, just had to open the window and see what he was up too. Well it looks like he is taking me way for three wonderful romantic days up to the mountains. We will be staying in a Lodge on Lake Arrowhead. We had decided not to go anywhere that would require airfare because I wanted to use the money for some new bedroom furniture. So I got a wonderful trip and new furniture... what could be better!

TTC Update:
I have a lot of mixed feelings right now. I'm finding myself a little frustrated because the weight loss has seriously screwed up my cycle. This past weekend, DH and I were filled with the desire to TTC. We just couldn't wait anymore and were really looking forward to what I thought would be a Saturday OV, but it never came. My CM comes and goes and my CP is still high. I'm on CD 21 and have not had the normal temp spike.

My temp is going up gradually (about 0.1 degree every day) which is not a good sign. That is what happened right after the M/C. I was warned by the nurses that my cycle would become irregular, but I didn't believe them. I'm going to my doctor tomorrow for a check-up and will ask her how long it will take to go back to normal. So you see, the weight loss is bittersweet.

The good thing is… I'm still incredibly happy, much more happier than I was 25 pounds ago!!

Take care everyone, and good luck TTC. I hope I can join you soon!
