Christy's Diary Entries

Diary Navigation:

April 18, 2000

Hi Everyone,
WOW! So much has happened in the past week, I don't know where to start! For starters, AF actually showed up the day after my last diary entry. I was in total shock! She showed up on CD30, which was quite a surprise. I had been temping, but I wasn't really paying much attention to my CM. I figured it didn't matter since I would not be TTC this last cycle. I do remember CM showing up quite early, I thought it was caused from the weight change, not OV, so I ignored it. I actually had a normal cycle! Do you know how happy that makes me! I'm still in shock!

So now I'm on CD7 and if this cycle is a repeat of last cycle, I should be O'ing within 6 to 10 days. Believe it or not, I'm happy and unhappy about O so soon. I'm happy because I now feel like I am totally healed from the MC and that very soon a baby will be growing in my body. I'm unhappy because I don't think I'm ready to stop dieting. I want both, and I can't have both! I thought I would have more time to decide if I wanted to TTC this month. 6-10 days just isn't long enough to decide.

I have three more weeks of weight loss left and two weeks of lifetime maintenance (where you learn how much to eat to maintain weight loss without losing weight). I was told I could still do the lifetime maintenance part of the diet if I were PG, but I would not be allowed to lose anymore weight. I would get my money back, but it's not really about the money. Here lies my dilemma, I guess it's not much different than last weeks dilemma.

Weight Loss Update:
So here's the good news! I have lost 20.5 pounds!! I can't tell you how absolutely HAPPY I am about that! I feel so great. None of my old clothes fit me anymore, so I went on a shopping spree this weekend. I had a blast. I purchased about 5 shirts, 2 pairs of capris, 2 pairs of shoes (like my feet really lost any weight) and treated myself to some undergarments from Victoria's Secret! With all that, I just had to buy some soothing shower gels, bubble bath and after-shower spritzer. To top it all off, I got a new hair cut and silk gel for my hair. I feel like a new smaller person! I purchased everything a little snug so it would still fit (probably a little baggy) for the next couple weeks. I plan on buying tons more when I reach my goal!

So that's about it, sorry for the long entry, sometimes I can't stop babbling. I'm the same way on the phone. Thanks for all the input re: last weeks dilemma. I really think that if I wasn’t expecting to O next week, I would have taken your advice and gone for it!

Take Care,
Christy
