Hi Everyone,
I hope you all had a good weekend. Mine was pretty good. I went to a baby shower on Sunday and actually had a really good time. At first I was hesitant to go; I was afraid I would break down in tears at the sight of my PG friend, but I didn't! I was so genuinely happy for her and not the least bit jealous. I did flinch a couple of times when everyone was touching the moving baby in mama's tummy; I just looked away. I guess this is a sign that I'm starting to get on with my life.
Well, it's CD27 and still no sign of AF. Last week I had a +OPK and noticeable CM but no temp rise. Has anyone experienced this before? Can you ovulate without a temp rise? I'm wondering if I'm having one of those non-ovulatory cycles. I never experienced this before on any of my previous charting. I guess there is a first for everything.
I have a follow-up OBGYN appointment on Friday. I'm not sure what my doctor will be doing; I guess he just wants to check that everything is healing OK after the D&C. I was thinking about asking him to check my hormone levels. It seems that a lot of first time M/C are caused by lack of progesterone. Who knows!! Most doctor's won't do any testing until you have M/C three times...doesn't that seem cruel!!?
Well, I better go for now!!
I look forward to chatting with you on my BB.
Christy
