Kim's Diary Entries

Diary Navigation:

July 5, 1999

I had my second u/s today. It was so quick!! The guy looked for about a minute and said that everything looks normal. I said that the last time I was borderline and he said that mild pcos sometimes doesn't show up on u/s at all and that the borderline calls are very subjective to the person doing the u/s.

All in all, it made me pretty happy. I feel like I have a little more ammunition now to force the doctors to really explore the hypothyroid possibility and it made me a little more hopeful about this clomid cycle. I still am not sure that I really believe it will work, but this made me more inclined to believe those people who have said that sometimes your body needs a cycle to get used to the drugs. I feel less like I am just going through the motions and more like something could actually happen. Still though, I don't want to get too excited because I don't want to feel as bad as I did last time if it doesn't work again.

I guess this means that ovarian diathermy is out too. If I don't have lots of little cysts, what will they get rid of? Oh well. I'm still hoping that the new doctors in August will be supportive of metformin. That is if I still need it by then. ;o)

Now where did that come from? I must be getting my hope back again........................ .......................................................... Just basking in it. It is so much nicer to be hopeful than not. Right now I am hoping that AF comes soon. I finished the provera on Saturday, so anyone out there who knows where she is, please send her over.

I hope everyone has a very fertile week.
