Kelley's Diary Entries

Today I am officially 9 DPO. AF should show (or not show) on Friday. I am hoping it stays as far away from me as it possibly can. Hopefully I will have some very good news next week. I am trying to wait until at least Friday or Saturday to test, so I can save the $10 just in case AF is coming. I hate to waste the money on negative results. In the last five months I have wasted a lot of money on negative test results and it is getting quite expensive. Not to mention depressing.

I have had a boring, ho-hum week. I worked 14 hours of overtime at my job. Other than that, not much has happened. Friday was kind of stressful. We are getting a more up-to-date version of one of the programs that we use. Not everyone in my department figured out what their computer was doing and about half of them messed up the installation. Then they asked me to help them. I'm just the person who takes the paper off of the printer and hands out the work. I'm not "in" tech support. What makes them think I can fix it every time they mess up their computers? AAUUGGHHHH. Oh yeah, I'm more computer literate than the older folks and I can read things that are typed on the screen. Now I am done. It is good to get my frustrations out. On to something more pleasant.

I've been practicing "being a mommy" on Crystal. She is my future sister-in- law's new daughter. She is two and a half months old and has one of the prettiest smiles I've ever seen. I know a couple of hours here and there is nothing like the real thing, but it is better than no practice at all.

Next week I am writing with good news. How is that for positive thinking?
