Jen & Jake's Diary Entries

September 29, 1999

Hey girls... ( and guys , I guess) ... who knows?

Well, this month was a big 'ol fat ---- ! Yup, AF came 2 days ago, with about 4 days of pre-spotting, so I knew it before she got here... and I tested anyway, cause I'm a dork and it was negative. I was soooo bummed out. I am really starting to worry now. I think the real key now is to forget about it. That's the only thing I haven't tried yet, but I'm really wondering what exactly I need to do to not OBSESS. Seriously, there is nothing I want more to do than let it be erased from my brain, but I truly am TOO aware of my body, my cycles, my timing, my temps, how can I just NOT THINK about it?? I'm convinced the only way is to get plowed, all month, take drugs, get hypnotized, or get hit by a semi-truck and go into a coma. Hmmmm, wondering which one I should chose?

So as of today, (don't forget, by the time you guys read these, they are a week past) September 28th, I am on Cycle #6 and on day #2... boy, these months are long.

I'm considering going back to school. I miss it and would love to get a degree in Photography to add onto my BFA...I find I'm really getting into it and love spending time in the dark room, so I would absolutely love a reason to HAVE to do it... and it just may be the key to getting my mind of the whole baby thing, if that is even possible.

The weather is cooling off and I sense winter coming, the snow and rain are only about a month away, *gag*, and I'm dreading it more than ever.

So, other than all that, not much to tell -- at the beginning of the month again, so there won't be much to talk about besides waiting for "o" week, which I'm trying not to even think about.... so there, you may have to just wonder about me for a while so I can re-program my brain.

Jen
