Well here we are again, in the waiting phase (for me anyway) -- currently on day 26. I should expect AF in the next 4-5 days. I have had premenstrual symptoms for the last 10 days or so -- cramping, bloated, typical dull achiness... very untypical for me. Jake and I wiped the calendar clean and BD'd all month long -- almost everyday. I'm hoping one of those days were key days. Two days ago, I started spotting; nothing significant, just a bit of brownish tinted CM it seems. I'm not sure what it means. I'm still noticing a bit of it today; I hope its not the prelude to another period!!! Other than that, I've been very warm. I'm usually always cold. I've only slept with a sheet at night, and it's still too much. Very, very hungry, especially between 1:00-7:00 p.m.. I could eat anything in sight. If I'm not pregnant, I'm gonna have some big time calorie explaining to do!!

Everything is fine on the home front, Jake took me to a fabulous bed and breakfast for our third anniversary of our first date. He is so sweet; he remembers everything (almost). It was a nice break, a beautiful place on the river. Simply gorgeous!

Heading to Bend this weekend (hometown) to visit some friends and my parents for about five days. A much needed few days with my girlies -- nothin' better than silly giggles into the wee hours of morning.

I will probably test if my period hasn't come by next Wednesday the 1st. I'm expecting good 'ol Aunt flow by Tuesday (begging her not to come). I've been hooked to the TLC Baby story every day, ending each show with nothing but a box of Kleenex. I'm getting so emotional about all this. I found out in the past week, four other couples we know found out they were pregnant. If it's in the water around here, I'm not drinking hardly enough!!! I'm definitely losing patience, losing faith in fairness and wanting a baby so badly that I'm now dreaming about it. Have I lost it or what???
