Jen & Jake's Diary EntriesDiary Navigation: |
June 17, 1999
Yesterday was kind of exciting! I took my second ovulation test and it came out positive. Two days earlier it was
negative and I was kind of concerned that maybe I still wasn't ovulating due to the Pill being in my system, but lo and
behold, I am!! So we did some baby dancing last night and hope that we timed it right, but will be sure to try a bit
more today and tomorrow just to be sure!!
I can't believe how excited I got over a little thing like an OPK. You would of thought it was an HPT or something, for crying out loud.
So Jake and I were shopping yesterday and I was in such a good mood, he thought I was on drugs. He kept giggling at me as I stomped through the baby section at all the stores, "Just one more ???" I kept asking. He slowly started to drag his feet through each section of rompers and onesies! So, I gave in and took him out to dinner instead. He is so good about this!
Anyway, another two weeks of waiting... AGAIN, this is the worst part!! I hate it! I can barely stand to sit and wait for AF to pop in. I'm surprised I haven't taken a HPT already, I'm that excited! I think I will keep my head in tact and just wait.
We are going to the beach this weekend with my parents for Father's Day, so that should make at least ONE weekend go by quickly, other than that..... send you prayers!!!!
Good luck to everyone!!
Jen and Jake
