Jen & Jake's Diary Entries

Diary Navigation:

June 3, 1999

Hi everyone!

Well, this last week has been a trial to say the least. Up until today, I was six days late and good ol' AF popped in for a visit this morning. I wasn't really that let down after taking a test last Saturday and it coming up negative. I was still late, however, and somewhere deep in my heart, I still held out for another reason to test in a week. I had planned to this Saturday, but now I won't need to I suppose.

Yeah, a little bummed, but now I can focus more on the next month. I'm having trouble pinpointing my ovulation days. I think Im just going to go ahead and get an OPK... instead of messing with the guess work. I'm not exactly sure what to look for with charting temps either, so I'm sure I'll have to learn as I go.

Besides that, Jake and I have been kind of distant lately. I feel like he isn't as excited as I am about TTC. I know he is, but I don't sense it from him. Maybe men don't show it like we do, and I'm sure we have to understand that we get to feel it internally and they do not. I don't know, I wish he was tappin' his toes like I am though.

We've been sooo busy this last week, remodeling the house and planting a whole new yard. We are putting in new windows and residing and painting our house. Phewww, what a chore. In the meantime, I have gaping holes in the walls during the day, while each one is put in. It will be so nice when everything is done. My parents are coming this weekend to visit, so I'm hoping we can halt for at least a day and enjoy some relax time.

So in brief, Im currently TTC#1 C#2 CD#1. Grrrrrrrrrr!!!!!!

Sending good and hopeful vibes out to you all.......
