Jen & Jake's Diary Entries

Diary Navigation:

January 3, 2000

Hey ladies,

Sorry about last week -- I had out of towners all week and was slammed with stuff to do...... plus, not much has changed. If you have been reading my board, you know that I tested and was not pregnant and also started my period a few days later...actually on day #30. It was so far, the strangest cycle I've had. Not only 'O'ing on day #12, which is really early for me, but spotting from day #19 to #24 and then beginning red spotting on day #28 and starting full flow on day #30... very odd. Temps stayed high until 2 days into my period. Then they dropped, so here I am back at the beginning again... TTC #1, Cycle #9, Day # 9. I should 'O' sometime this week. So I'm temping, charting, and watching CP and CM -- other than that, I've started the Protein Power , Eades diet. It's all NO CARB, which is amazingly difficult. I spent 2 hours in the grocery store comparing labels and quickly determined that EVERYTHING is a carb. An apple is the same as a doughnut and a carrot is the same as a Twinkie! HOLY COW. So, I'm restructuring my kitchen -- not only to maybe drop a few pounds (I'm feeling puffy), but to just get healthier. We'll see how much more energy I get from this, the overall goal.

Jake and I are doing well, besides some over the holiday family banter of course, GRRR. I could just squish my sister's head !!! Lonnnnng story...... anyway... I hope everyone is doing well, keep me posted, everyone!

-Jen
