Happy new year, everyone!!
I can’t believe that it’s already a new year. I say that every year, but I’m always so amazed at how fast time flies! Last year, I rang in the new year on San Marco Square in Venice, Italy. Talk about wonderful! I have such fond memories of Venice. This year, we spent a quiet evening at home, just the two of us. I had to work a 12-hour shift at the hospital yesterday but got to come home and enjoy the evening. DH made a wonderful ham dinner for me to come home to!
The stats for this week: TTC#1, C#3, CD#17. I don’t do temping or CM checks, so I am never really sure when O occurs. However, I always get mittelschmerz around day fourteen. Well, this cycle, I haven’t felt anything yet. So I’ve either O’d and don’t know it, I’ll O late, or I won’t O at all! The symptoms I feel are usually pretty prominent – the pain I feel in the ovary is usually strong enough to require ibuprofen or else I’m VERY uncomfortable. We’ll see what happens.
Looking forward to my appointment with the nurse practitioner next Friday. I’ve already started a list of questions to ask her about TTC. I’ll write about that appointment after it happens.
The day after Christmas, DH, my mom and I drove up to Vancouver, B.C. for the day. It was so much fun! My mom is visiting from Hawaii and has never been to Canada. We thought it would be fun to go up and catch the Boxing Day sales! It was a blast. It was gray and rainy, but nothing can really spoil Vancouver beauty. It’s such a gorgeous city!
Well, I guess that’s it. We’re are spending the day with my SIL and BIL and their three kids. We’re making homemade pizza, playing games, and relaxing today. It should be fun! Then, the holidays are officially over and it’s back to the grindstone! I hope NO ONE on these preconception diaries is here next Christmas!!! I hope we will have all moved on to the Pregnancy Today diaries by then! HAPPY 2001!!!!!!!
