Hello and welcome!
Well, the last few weeks have been very busy. I'm in my senior year of college and I've had papers and tests the last few weeks. Now the dust is settling, though.
I'm expecting AF on the 20th. She was five days late last month, so, we will see what happens. We BD only once when we believed I was ovulating because things were just hectic with school, and I kind of lost track of time. So, I'm not getting my hopes too high. I am seeing my doctor on the 26th to get my yearly exam and I will also talk to her about trying to conceive again.
Now on to my dilemma. I was on a waiting list for a course that will take place for four weeks in January 2001. We will be in four countries in South America for the four weeks, studying the rain forests, animal life and archaeology. I got word about two weeks ago that I am now an official part of the trip. I really want to go but am torn about leaving my kids and Dave, and postponing our plans to conceive. We would only be waiting until the spring so the next one will still be less than two years younger than Lauren if we don't have any problems. Dave says I need to go because it is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. The pediatrician even said it was an amazing opportunity and that the girls would be fine.
If I'm PG already, which I doubt, then I will not be able to go. I'm really leaning towards going. I go back and forth every week. I tell everyone I'm going and then I change my mind again. I'm already enrolled and portions of the trip have been paid although that is not necessarily set in stone. At this point I am going and will start trying to conceive again in February. However, I do plan to continue using the next few months to get better acquainted with my body and start prenatal vitamins. That way when I get home we can start trying again right away.
Well, thanks for reading. I look forward to hearing from people on my board.
Take care,
Christina
