I got the go-ahead from the doctor to TTC. He said that since I had such a healthy pregnancy, there is no reason to wait. He told me that if my body wasn't ready, I wouldn't get pregnant anyway.

With the boys I didn't even try. I just would BD when it was the middle of my cycle, every day or every other day. The longest it took me to get pregnant was five months, with Abigail, because I was following the Dr. Shettles' method. I a big believer in this method, and I am hindsight this with my boys. Basically you time BD'ing to when you are O'ing. For a boy you want to BD on O, for a girl you want to be far away from O, like two to four days before you O. I also bought the ClearPlan Easy fertility monitor; I used it with Abbie, and it's great. As soon as I found out how many higher fertility days I have, before the peak reading on the monitor, I used it to get a two-day cutoff. I am also trying to change my pH to more of an acid, since that is what favors girl conception. (Alkaline favors boys.) So right now I am taking cranberry capsules, calcium, magnesium, 1,000 mg of vitamin C, a prenatal, and aspirin.

I wish you all lots of ++++ pregnancy tests!

Chris
