14 wks down and 26 wks to go...
Wow I can't believe it is Monday again already. This past Thursday I had spotting again. It was just a tiny amount, enough to stain a little in my underwear. But enough to be concerned. I have never had bleeding during any of my previous 5 pregnancies. So this is so nerve racking to me. I didn't bother to call my doctor this time, since last time I went in and had the u/s, and they didn't find a problem, and it was a one time thing. I asked him if I was to spot again would I need to call and be seen. He responding to me that there would be nothing they could do for me, since they know the baby was viable at that point, and I was 11 wks then. He also said it would be highly unlikely that I would miscarry at that stage. Because most m/c are acctually blighted ovum sp? and if it was acctually a fetus, they usually have something wrong with them. So I quess its just carry on as usual. I haven't had another spot.
My blood sugar has been great. Infact I really have just gone back to my regular diet, and staying a way from sweets. I have noticed though that it isn't sugar that makes me have a high level, as fast as white starchs...potatoes, white bread, which suprised me.
I have an u/s set up for June 19th...I am excited. This will be a heart echo too. They should be able to see exactly how this babies heart beats. I hope they can tell us the gender too. So I can start shopping. I am prepared for either gender. I know as long as this baby is healthy they are a true blessing. I have everything for a summer baby girl. So either way I will have to start over since, I am having a winter baby. I got a great new dital camera...so ebay I will be doing.
Thats about all for now...
