Today Dan and I have been married for 12 years. Happy anniversary.
C 9 CC 1 CD 21 DPO 5
I am so excited I finely ovulated. I was doing the fertility monitor at noon each day and the OPK at 10pm each night, from CD 11 on. I wanted to still do a little shettles for a girl, about a 2-day cut off (that is what I got with Abby). But since I was on Clomid I didn’t want to get to way out there. I know my friends that are ttc with shettles start usually with a 3-4 day cut off. Well my goal was to bd up to the peak on the fertility monitor or a positive on the OPK. My other fear that I have heard from the boards was you could get no ewcm and false LH surges (+OPK when they shouldn’t be). So I wasn’t sure until my temp went up that I actually did O. This is how it went, we bd’d every other to everyday for that week, Friday I noticed some ewcm, last BD was 2am on Saturday morning and then Peak on monitor at noon Saturday. Sunday around 6pm felt O pain on right side (40 hour cutoff), Monday 4am got O pain on left side (50 hour cutoff). I have had O pain like this before, and so I am not sure if one is not a true egg release or if I am just still feeling it the next time? Either way I just hope it was enough time for a girl but not too much to rule out getting pregnant. My temp didn’t go up until Wednesday. Which is pretty normal for me, not to get a rise for a day or two. The one side effect I do feel from Clomid is that my ovaries still feel crampy and so I wonder if it’s just from what the released egg left or if I have a cyst. I get an u/s next week before she will give me another prescription for Clomid, I hope I wont need it. And Monday that will be about 7 DPO I will go get my progesterone count drawn.
I was figuring the due date of a baby if conceived this month, (I know call me crazy I usually do this when I start my period or if I O lol). This baby would be due November 4th (my oldest sons birthday J) I have always gone early but I thought it was cute.
