TTC#1 C#4 CD#4

Hello everyone! Yes, AF arrived on Saturday! I was so excited!! You won't hear that very often on this site! A fresh start. A clean slate. I am so ready!!!

Well, I had my doctor appointment on Friday for my referral. It was interesting, to say the least! When I got there, I signed in and the nurse called me back. I told her that I wanted a referral to Dr. B for my yearly exam. She told me that I don't need a referral for my yearly exam. All I have to do is call and tell them that I have Maxicare and I need my yearly. Well, I really wanted my referral so I told her that I wanted to talk to him about TTC and she said OK. Then the doctor comes in. He wants to know what I want a referral for so I go through the whole thing again. He didn't understand what I wanted to talk to him about so I tried to explain that I wanted like a preconception check up. He tells me that they don't do anything like that! I asked him if I should go to him before I TTC and he said no! Since when have things changed? He was not going to refer me so I told him that I haven't O'd in two months and he said, "Well, I can refer you for that." Then when he was writing on my chart he asked me if anovulation is a word! (Of course, my spell check doesn't think it is!) Who is the doctor here?

To top it all off, AF arrived the next day. My appointment is Oct. 25 so I will be on CD12 and I am just going to suggest waiting to see if I O on my own. I know that sometimes women don't O and last month may just be a fluke but I was desperate for a referral! What would happen if I got a yeast infection? I had chronic ones for about a year. If I couldn't get into the right doctor right away I would go crazy! I really hope my cycles straighten out!

We are leaving to go camping tomorrow. Wish me luck being nature girl!! Congrats to Jenny and Dawn L! Hope some of that PG dust comes our way!! Good luck to everyone and have fun!
