Hi everyone! Hope everyone had a good weekend. This weekend was the first Sunday of the season that the library was open. Needless to say, I had to work. Of course DH was off so that made it even harder. We open in the middle of the day and it just kills any plans anyone might have.
Well, on to the good news. No, not that good news! Not yet, anyway. However, I was wrong about O'ing in my last entry. I did not O until Sunday which was CD 26 (I think). Also, I had EWCM on Wednesday night! I was so excited I stayed up until DH got home at 3 a.m. to tell him! This is the first month since May that we actually have a real chance. I am trying not to get my hopes up too high. Of course, that usually doesn't work too well! My mind starts flying and I just have to go along with it!
Someone I work with was telling me that there is a new HPT out that says you can test four days before AF is supposed to show up. I haven't heard anything about it. She said that it was a major brand name but we couldn't find anything on the Internet about it last night.
I got this poem on email last week and I wanted to share it with everyone. It really touched me and made me think.
Have you ever watched kids
On a merry-go-round
Or listen to the rain
lapping on the ground?
Ever followed a butterfly's erratic flight
Or gazed at the sun into the fading night?
You better slow down
Don't dance so fast
Time is short
The music won't last.
Do you run through each day on the fly?
When you ask, "How are you?"
Do you hear the reply?
When the day is done,
Do you lie in your bed
With the next hundred chores
Running through your head?
You'd better slow down
Don't dance so fast
Time is short
The music won't last.
Ever told your child,
We'll do it tomorrow
And in your haste, not see his sorrow?
Ever lost touch,
Let a good friendship die
'Cause you never had time
To call and say "Hi"?
You better slow down
Don't dance so fast
Time is short
The music won't last.
Don't run so fast to get somewhere
You miss half the fun of getting there.
Then you worry and hurry through your day.
It is like an unopened gift ...
Thrown away ...
Life is not a race.
Do take it slower
Hear the music
Before the song is over.
I know that I get so caught up in some things that I don't pay close attention to the things that I should. I try to remind myself but that doesn't always work. This poem did. I hope it helps someone else today.
On that note, I am going to sign off. Good luck and baby dust to everyone out there!
Cherylyn
