Jayme's Diary EntriesDiary Navigation: |

Hey girls! I have a new idea to share with y'all! I was thinking that every time I test (when there really is a chance that I may be pregnant) I am going to have Ian stand there with a camera when I first look at the results. I want him to snap the shot when I see that positive finally. Then, I am going to post that picture with my entry one of these days. I want everyone (including my baby) to see the look on my face when I find out that I am pregnant. I think that that will be very fun and exciting! I just hope I don't look stupid! LOL
I was thinking about this when I was trying to imagine the looks on the faces of all the precon crew when they same that double line. What did Michelle's face look like? What did Lynn's face look like? What did Jen's face look like? It brings tears to my eyes just imagining the smiles, the tears of joy, the look of total and utter peace after all the months and years of TTC!
Babies are so great! I was washing dishes the other day and looking out my window, when my neighbor came out to her garden with her 9-month-old daughter. She was pointing in amazement at the birds, the clouds, oh! look mommy a bug!, the dirt between her little teeny toes was amazing to her! I love that most about babies. They are seeing all the things that are great in life for the first time. We take them for granted. A rainbow, butterflies, birds, vegetables growing out the ground, a pretty flower. Their little innocent eyes get so big and their breath becomes so shallow as they get so full of excitement they look as though they may burst! I saw this little girl's little fat finger pointing all around, her little pink lips opened in the shape of a little '"O."
Ian and I watched her and just smiled. It was so peaceful to look at. She was so happy in the beautiful small things in life. I see these things all the time and never look twice. The point is, she taught me a lesson. That young little baby taught me, an adult, to appreciate the small things in life! Babies depend on us to take care of them and to teach them what they need to know to be an adult; but, in the meantime they teach us what it is like to be human, to relish in LIFE, to love, and to just be happy!
