Jayme's Diary EntriesDiary Navigation: |
July 3, 2000
Hey everybody! As of today, I am on CD#23. I am coming down to the wire! I am so excited. Let me tell ya'll a quick story ...
Well, on CD#19 (DH and my day off), I was getting ready to take a shower and go to bed, when I said,"What the heck, I am going to check my stupid 'ol CM." As soon as I removed my finger, I saw EWCM! It was a black and white ovulation sign right before my very eyes!!! I ran into the living room holding out my finger, with my shorts around my ankles, screaming,"Look, look, hon! Egg whites!"
"Well, what are we sitting around here for?" DH said, "Let's do it!" I was so excited. No temp spike as of yet. I wonder, could this be it? Supposedly, I am on DPO #4 right now. I am new to this whole charting thing so I am not sure.
Guess what? I am on day number three of no smoking. It is hard! I can do it though. I have to get mad at myself and say, "Now you stop it, Jayme! You are not going to smoke and you are going to win!" I really get mad at myself. I am drinking lots of water and sucking on lots and lots of hard candy. Ian is so proud of me. He even says that I should keep one cigarette in my pocket book in case I am stuck somewhere and I am stressed out. I am kind of being hard on him (Dawn, you warned me!).
I have even yelled at my little hairy, stinky boo-ba Lance. He is my little shadow and gets under my feet all the time. I can't even take a bath without him putting his front paws over the edge of the tub. Well, I was trying to get out the bath the other night and I almost stepped on him. I had to catch myself or I would've fallen. I stopped myself from yelling by counting to 10. I put clothes on and was walking to the kitchen for a glass of water and Lance started to bark and jump on the backs of my bare legs (I was wearing shorts). I screamed at the top of my lungs,"Stop it! Stop it! Stop it!" I screamed so loud that my throat hurt for two days afterwards. Lance can be such a butthead sometimes; he just sat there and wagged his tail, thinking I was playing with him. I still felt guilty, though.
I'll keep ya'll posted on my TTC front as well as the quitting smoking front. Thanks, gals. I hope I have good news for everyone next entry. It's about time for another one of us to come up preggo. Maybe it could be you!
