Jayme's Diary Entries

Diary Navigation:

June 12, 2000

I have been reading that book, TCOYF. It is great! I have learned so much! Everyone who is trying to conceive should get that book! I am such an advocate for FAM, Fertility Awareness Method. Before I read that book and started temping and charting, I was just walking around in the dark. I feel so confident now. I am in control, not my GYN, not anybody but me.

This is really gross; but, I started to check my CM. I am not doing this now because on CD#18, AF came for a visit. I am confused because that is really early for me; but, I am not upset because I know I won't be confused for long. I have so much more hope now, it's funny. Anyway, I am checking my CM now. My tip for the week is just that: Check your CM and chart it. I learned that just temping is used to find out when you ovulate, if you BD'd on the right day, and if you are having miscarriages and you don't know it. For example, if you have high temps for over 16 days after your peak than you are PG. Some woman have miscarriages and don't even know it because it just seems like AF. That's scary to me. The great thing is that if you find this out then there is something that can be done for that problem. Back to CM, You should check your CM because that will tell you when to BD. If your CM looks like egg white then your CM is fertile and you are more than likely ovulating and you should BD right then. Don’t stop, get it get it! He He.

Try not to use any kind of lubrication or it can destroy sperm. If you need to, use ... that's right, the white from an egg! No oral sex, saliva can destroy sperm. Right on, Toni Weschler! Smart Doc! Let's all try it. What is it going to hurt? It is all natural. No unnecessary tests and you can take some control instead of laying it all in your doctor's lap. It's worth a shot! I'm going to be trying it and I'll let y'all know (of course) if it works. The book worked for Christy, right?

Well, I'll post again later. Hope everyone is doing great! I sure am! +++++ vibes to all, TTC.
