Hi everyone!
I finally got that long awaited positive sign this
morning on a HPT! I am PG!!!
Maybe it was the fertility monitor. Maybe it was the
Clomid. Maybe it was luck, or maybe Paris really is a
magical place. To be honest, I don't care why this
month was different than the past 10. I am just glad
it was!
I have to say that I was so busy this cycle that I didn't have a lot of time to obsess about TTC. I can't say I didn't think about it, because I did, but there was so much going on that it was not the first thing on my mind every waking moment! I have been told to stop thinking about TTC and it will just happen. It sounds like a great idea, but it was impossible for me to do. The only way I was able to give it a back seat in my mind was to have other major things on my mind.
As far as symptoms go, I must say I haven't really noticed any. I haven't felt any more tired than usual, no breast soreness and no cravings yet! I have had a little nausea in the mornings, but I get that feeling from my prenatal vitamins, so I can't call it a PG symptom.
Anyway, I am so happy that it happened this cycle.
What could be more romantic than conceiving our first
child on our anniversary in Paris! I want to shout it
from the rooftops, but I think I should get a blood
test to confirm the PG before we tell our family and I
would like to wait a month or so before we start
telling our friends and coworkers.
As promised, I have included with this entry pictures from our Paris trip. It was hard to limit it to just four, but I tried to pick some of the most memorable ones. The first is a black and white picture of the Eiffel Tower. The second is a picture of Invalides (as seen from the Eiffel Tower). The third is a picture of John and me at Claude Monet's house with the gardens in the background. The last one is me sitting in one of the cars they drive in Paris. We were amazed at how small the cars were. I hope you all enjoy the pictures!
This is a trip that John and I will never forget!
Baby dust to everyone!!!
