Hi Everyone,

I hope you all had a fun and safe fourth of July!

I would like to start off by clarifying something I wrote in my introduction. DH read my intro and didn't quite agree with the length of time we have been TTC. In my intro I indicated that this was our ninth cycle. DH didn't think that was completely accurate. I stopped taking BCP at the end of October 1999, but at that time we were pretty clueless on the whole TTC process. I thought, stopping using birth control meant getting PG.

So, to make a long story short it took us a few months to learn when I O and when to time BD, etc. This is my fourth cycle temping and charting. So, I guess you could say we have been TTC for somewhere between four and nine months.

Today is cycle day 16, just a few days left in our BD fest. This is definitely my favorite time of my cycle (and DH too!). This cycle has been pretty inconsistent so I am not really sure what to expect.

On cycle day 14 I woke up to lots of EWCM. This is very unusual for me because mine is usually very light. This time it was like the pictures in the books! I was shocked! So of course, I promptly woke up my DH and seduced him (Ha! Ha!). The weird thing is that, prior to the seduction, I used an OPK and it was negative. The next morning, cycle day 15, I woke up and got a +OPK, but no CM at all. Just to be safe, DH and I BD’d again (what a sacrifice, LOL!).

On a different note, I had a strange conversation with my sister last night. She told me she had a dream that was so real it was more like a premonition. She dreamt that she had a baby on April 22, 2001. The strange thing about is that she has two kids and does not plan on having any more. Obviously they are not TTC. She went on to say that the baby was a boy and they named him Joshua. Here is the weird part. First, she does not know that my DH and I are TTC. Second, we decided that if we have a boy we want to name him Joshua and we have never told her that. Third, if we conceive this cycle our due date should be in April of 2001. So, who knows, maybe she was dreaming about my baby and not hers. I'm crossing my fingers for that to be the case.
